We are pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Ranjit Singh as Dean in the University. He is assigned the charge of Dean, Corporate Relations and Engagement with effect from November 29, 2021. He has been given additional charge of Controller of Examination.

Prof. Ranjit has about twenty-two years of teaching, research and administrative experience. Before joining this University, he was working as Director, Mukand Educational Institutions, Radaur, Haryana. He received his Bachelor in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Regional Engineering College (now known by N.I.T.), Jalandhar. Later, he did his Master’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. His Doctorate in Electronics and Communication Engineering is from GJUS&T Hisar, Haryana. His prime research interests are Digital Signal Processing, Evolutionary Computation, Reliability Engineering and Control System Engineering. He has around 90 research papers in various journals and conferences. He has professional associations (Life Membership) with ISTE, New Delhi, and Institution of Engineers (India). He is supervising two Doctorate candidates and has guided 24 Post Graduate. Recently, he was invited as plenary and keynote speaker at sixth international conference organized by IEEE in N.I.T. Kurukshetra. He is also author of book entitled Linear Control Systems and in progress of edited book i.e. Evolutionary Computation with Intelligent Systems: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Society 5.0 with Taylor and Francis Group, Florida.
