Blood Donation Camp in SVSU!
We all know that donating blood is an act of life-saving benevolence. Voluntary blood donors are the cornerstone of a safe and adequate supply of blood and blood products.
Blood donation not only saves the receivers life but also helps the donor to maintain good health. Dean Students’ welfare, SVSU organised a blood donation camp in collaboration with HDFC bank on 29th November 2019 at Transit Office, Sector 44 Gurugram and WIT campus.
All SVSU members and students were self-motivated to donate the blood. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Sh. Raj Nehru was the chief guest for the camp. He motivated in his address. After inaugurating the camp, he donated blood also. Dr Ritu Bajaj, Registrar, guest of honour also focused on the importance of blood donation. Prof Jyoti Rana, Dean Students’ Welfare welcomed everyone and addressed students to highlight the relevance of blood donation. Total of 112 persons donated blood at both the campus.
This was a joint effort of academia and industry which resulted in social well being.
