It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the portals of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU), Dudhola, Palwal, Haryana—India's first Government Skill University and a gateway to high-quality, skill-oriented education.
Named after the divine architect and master engineer Lord Vishwakarma, who is revered for creating magnificent palaces for the Gods and crafting celestial weapons such as Lord Shiva's Trishul, Lord Vishnu's Sudarshana Chakra, and Ravana's Pushpaka Vimana, SVSU symbolizes creativity, innovation, and excellence in craftsmanship. Inspired by this divine legacy, the University serves as a growth engine to the nation's Skill India Mission.
It is both an honour and a privilege to lead this vibrant and emerging academic community dedicated to fostering excellence, innovation, and holistic students development. At SVSU, we believe in empowering the next generation of leaders through globally relevant skill education deeply rooted in Indian ethos. Our vision is to emerge as a globally respected centre of excellence in skill-based education by effectively bridging the gap between the academia and the industry.
In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, SVSU has adopted a flexible, inclusive, and multidisciplinary model of education. Guided by the cardinal principle of "Catch Them Young," we have implemented the KG-to-PG model through the SVSU Senior Secondary School, enabling skill education to begin at the foundational stage and continue seamlessly through higher education.
SVSU is working in a mission mode to create technically proficient, AI-enabled, and IT-skilled professionals across diverse disciplines, including Science, Engineering, Management, Agriculture, and allied fields. Our scholars actively engage in research aimed at addressing critical global challenges, promoting climate consciousness, and generating impactful solutions that benefit both science and society.
