About SVSU

SVSU is India's First Skill University established by the Govt. of Haryana by a legislative Act in 2016. The objective of SVSU is to facilitate & promote skill, entrepreneurship development, skill-based education and to upgrade skill level in various emerging sectors. SVSU's main campus is built on 82.7 acres of land at village Dhudhola, Distt. Palwal with a state-of-the-art infrastructure. SVSU: “योग: कमस ुकौशलम्”ill.

The motto “योग: कमस ुकौशलम ्” has been adopted from Shrimad Bhagwat Gita (Chapter 2. Verse 50). Any work becomes valuable if done with full concentration, dedication and skill. The colour of the University logo signifies the dignity of skill and labour and Saptarishis in the universe who are collectively bringing the unrevealed wisdom, philosophy, science and knowledge of cosmos to connect with human mind to skill them to think out of box, with infinite limits are personified as seven dots.

The logo symbolizes a blend of tradition and modernity, representing creativity, knowledge, and progress. Elements like the pen nib and spanner highlight hands-on learning and skill-building, while the Wi-Fi symbol and monitor emphasize digital connectivity. The red arrow signifies continuous growth and adaptability. Overall, the logo reflects a thoughtful mind integrating knowledge, ethics, and innovation, aligning with the university's mission to nurture skilled and visionary individuals.

The campus layout is inspired by a chariot, symbolizing purpose, dynamism, and movement, with academic blocks representing horses and administration/auditorium as the balancing wheels.
