It is my privilege to welcome you to Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU), Palwal (Haryana)—India’s first Government Skill University, dedicated to providing high-quality skill-based education.

Founded by the Government of Haryana in 2016, SVSU is a young, dynamic, and vibrant institution. With its motto “योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्” (from the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2, Verse 50), meaning, “Yoga is Excellence at Work,” the University underscores the paramount importance of skill and excellence in every field of work.

SVSU is committed to empowering India’s youth to thrive in a fast-evolving, tech-driven world. Aligned with national flagship programmes such as Skill India, Digital India, Make in India, and the Semicon India Programme, we are shaping a workforce that is skilled, innovative, and ready to contribute to India’s rise as a global leader in technology and manufacturing. We also nurture entrepreneurial talent that fuels the startup ecosystem and supports strategic initiatives like the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. Through strong industry partnerships, students benefit from experiential learning and on-the-job training that build real-world competencies.

In Engineering, we focus on high-demand areas such as Robotics & Automation, IoT, Semiconductor Technology, Electric Vehicles, and Sustainable Engineering. In Management, we integrate Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Cloud Computing to cultivate agile, forward-thinking leaders. Our Agriculture programs emphasize Precision Farming, automation, and AI-driven analytics. In Humanities, we leverage Digital Humanities and AI in Translation to preserve and enrich India’s cultural legacy.

In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, SVSU offers a flexible, inclusive, and multidisciplinary education model. We have adopted the KG to PG model through our SVSU Senior Secondary School, ensuring a seamless continuum of learning that starts at the foundational level and continues through higher education. With multiple entry-exit options, robust industry linkages, and state-of-the-art laboratories, we prepare our students to meet the evolving demands of Industry 4.0 and Digital India. Our emphasis on lifelong learning and digital skills equips learners to grow and adapt throughout their careers
