In the dynamic realm of skill-based higher education, the Department of Student Welfare
(DSW) at Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, Haryana, stands as a cornerstone of student
growth and engagement. Our mission is to create a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive campus
environment that empowers students to thrive academically, emotionally, and professionally.
The DSW serves as a vital link between students and the university’s vision, focusing on
academic support, mental well-being, extracurricular involvement, and career readiness.
Through mentorship programs, counselling services, and proactive initiatives, we provide
students with the resources and guidance they need for holistic development.
To foster an enriching campus life, students are encouraged to join various voluntary clubs,
including Sports Clubs, Technical Clubs, Cultural Clubs, NSS Clubs, etc. These platforms
offer opportunities to participate in diverse activities, enhancing personal growth, teamwork,
and leadership skills. Annual highlights from these clubs, showcased across our media
channels, reflect the energy and creativity of our student community.
Additionally, the DSW collaborates with the Career Development team to equip students
with the skills and opportunities necessary for successful careers. At DSW, we celebrate the
achievements of our students, as highlighted in SVSU media coverage, and remain dedicated
to fostering a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and excellence. Together, we aim to empower
every student to excel in their academic journey and beyond.
On behalf of the DSW team, I extend my warmest welcome to all students to actively join the
various clubs under the DSW umbrella and stay updated through notices regularly published
on the SVSU website. Together, let us build a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and
excellence that reflects the spirit of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University.
